About Jinan Erchid

Dedicated Healthcare Professional | Emergency Responder | Community Leader

From a young age, I was surrounded by the sounds of three languages and the richness of Arab culture. That upbringing gave me more than a love for language—it gave me purpose. Today, I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist who sees every client as a reminder of why I entered this field: to make communication accessible, empowering, and inclusive for all.

My academic journey began with studying the science of language, which laid a strong foundation for my clinical work. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals overcome challenges in areas such as stuttering and accent modification, always with a focus on culturally and linguistically appropriate care. I’m fluent in both Arabic and American Sign Language, which allows me to connect deeply with families who might otherwise struggle to find effective support.

One pivotal experience came during the summer of 2015, when I witnessed the severe lack of speech-language services for children in the Arab Gulf countries. That moment was transformative—it reinforced my long-standing desire to serve not just locally, but globally. Since then, I’ve made it my mission to bring free, accessible speech-language support to communities around the world where such care is scarce.

Outside the clinic, I’m a devoted mother to three wonderful boys who constantly remind me of the power of communication, curiosity, and compassion. Whether at home or with clients, I bring a clinician’s skill, a mother’s empathy, and an advocate’s determination to everything I do.
